With this venture, all her town’s people in the medical field from all parts of the federation and the diaspora, united to give free medical attention to people of their own community. Catherine’s activities brought an enduring unity for all Oba indigene. This moved the traditional leader of the Oba community, Igwe Peter Ezenwa, Eze Okpoko 1 of Oba, to give her a rare recognition for a woman in that society, a Chieftaincy title.
